In Superdrug we added up the additional value of the annual £1m we spent on space management - it made about £10-15m additional sales like-for-like and facilitated a whole lot more commercial growth to happen.
In Woolworths we fixed the seasonal space and reorganised the rest so that we saved almost £2m in store costs, £15m in excess, unmerchandisable stock and created a 4% growth in Home ranges productivity
